PG&E users' energy behavior visualized

Dozens of utility companies across the country agreed on a common standardized data format that provides detailed information to their customers. This data format is dubbed “Green Button Data”. Meanwhile the default utility bills these companies send out every month provide very little insight.

We set out to make use of this open data and show how people use energy by visualizing their usage data.
